We’re having a picnic! It’s my idea anyway. I invited all my friends. They would love to come. The picnic will be held at my house so I have to decorate a bit.
I woke up a little bit though because last night I went for a ride with Yuri, my loyal Guardian. I told him that I was so bored so he took me for a ride on a motorbike. He has a very cool, huge motorbike. My Dad gave it to him for being loyal to me.
Yuri and Zack were invited too, of course. I couldn’t leave those two behind. And, my sister, Akeme will be joined us too. She’s quite naughty but we always hang out together. She’s the only sister that I have.
“You’re late, Lenora,”
Akeme was already in the kitchen, making sandwiches with her Guardian, Zack.
“I’m sorry. Is there anything that I can help?”
I went to the fridge, opened it and glanced through to know what I could do.
“I was thinking to make pudding,”
She spread some tuna from the can.
“I’ll make the pudding. Yuri, let’s get started,”
I took the apron and wore it. Yuri nodded and smiled.
“Yes, Miss Lenora,”
Yuri and I were making pudding together. I made two types of pudding which are chocolate and strawberry. Akeme was just finished her sandwiches and she’s making some juices.
“When the picnic will start, Lenora?”
“Well, I told them to come at 9,”
I glanced to the clock near the fridge.
“We have another half an hour to prepare,”
“I’d finished the sandwiches and the drinks,”
Akeme hung her apron.
“Why don’t you take the sandwiches and the drinks first? I’ll finished this pudding in no time,”
“Okay. Come on, Zack. We have some works to do outside,”
Akeme and Zack took the sandwiches and the drinks outside. We’re making the picnic in our yard, under the willow tree.
Half an hour later, we’re ready. My friends were already here, sitting on the mat under the willow tree.
“It’s been a while we didn’t hang out like this, right?”
Jeremy ate the sandwiches.
“Yeah. I think we should gather around like this every weekend, beside of going to watch the movie or window shopping,”
Tamara took a bite.
“Or, we can go the beach,”
Daniel just took another sandwich.
“Beach is fun! How bout we go to the beach next week?”
I passed the sandwich to Yuri who was leaning to the willow tree.
“That would be great~!”
Nisha took a sip of her orange juice.
“But we have to check on the weather first. If next week is sunny, then we can go,”
Jay dug the pudding.
“Can I go too?”
Akeme eyes were glittering.
“Of course you can come, Akeme dear,”
Tamara smiled at her.
So we decided to go to the beach next week, if the weather is fine. After picnic, we packed the stuffs and put it in the kitchen. Yuri and Zack volunteered to do the washing, as usual.
My friends and I and Akeme hang out at the living room, talking about what we wanted to do this evening.
“Do we still have Sword class this evening?”
“Of course. Miss Lisa will be angry if we skipped her class,”
“She’ll tell our parents about this. If my Dad knew I skipped her class, then I’ll be doom!”
“Yeah, me too! Mom and Dad will grounded me if I did that,”
“So, let’s go to her class instead. After that, we can go to the park,”
“Sounds great, Lenora,”
“Can we go somewhere beside the park?”
“Why? Do you have problem with parks?”
“No. Not really. I think we should try another spot to hang out,”
“What’s come to your mind, Jay?”
Jay was thinking hard. He stared at the ceiling until his neck got hurt.
“I don’t mind as long as we can hang out together. After all, we have a week to hang out,”
“Yep, you are right. It’s a week break so we still can hang out anywhere we want,”
“I hope that my parents won’t have any plan for the break. They love to travel even in a short break like this,”
“Your parents are as same as mine, Jeremy. They love travelling,”
“I wish my parents are like yours too,”
“Our parents are same okay. They are all warriors,”
“You are right, Jay. But sometimes they are too strict, especially in training,”
“Because they wanted us to be a strong fighter,”
“But the war ended a long time ago. Why don’t we live in a happy life?”
“Because we didn’t know when the new war will be started,”
“What do you mean, Tamara?”
Tamara giggled.
“I know why you would say that. Because you are Witch, right? You can predict the future,”
Tamara nodded.
“Oh my gosh! You have a vision?”
“Not really. It’s just popped out from my mind just now,”
“I think that is a vision. What else did you see?”
Everyone was focused on Tamara.
“Well, I’m not as good as my Mom. I just saw the image of war,”
“Then we have to prepare for this coming up war. Tamara’s vision might come true,”
“Tamara, you really give a creep,”
Tamara laughed.
After a while, my friends went back. Akeme and I were still lounging in the living room. Yuri and Zack appeared from the kitchen. I think they had heard what Tamara said just now.
We have to prepare for the next war. I’ll be ready for that!
